You've found a very unique and special property. This 1-Bedroom cabin is pet friendly and has a private hot tub, something you will have a hard time finding anywhere else in this area. It is located on a working ranch, so you could even bring a horse if you wanted too. The ranch is just 9 miles west of downtown Steamboat Springs, at the base of Elk Mountain, also known as "Sleeping Giant." The ranch is quite close to the Elk River and its confluence with the Yampa River. This is a beautiful rural area that is pretty darn close and convenient to town. Access is pretty easy. You'll be on Highway 40 for all but the last 2 miles, which are on a well maintained, virtually flat Routt County road.
The cabin was the first home on the ranch, so it is old and rustic, yet modernized in all the right ways. It features hardwood floors, a wood stove, a private hot tub, HDTV, and sleeper sofa. The private hot tub is right outside the cabin and provides a very relaxing place to do some stargazing. Summer guests will enjoy the extra bit of outdoor space provided by the paver patio. more |

It does not get better than this! you have your own private home less than a 5 minute walk on a designated beautiful trail right to the Gondola at Steamboat Springs famous Champagne powder ski resort. the house has just been remodeled and carries all new furniture and lots of high end accessories. there are very large windows facing the south and west so space is very light and bright with ample window coverings. you walk out to a nice 350 sq. ft. deck with a brand new Jacuzzi that is all yours with no one else to share. Downstairs are 2 well appointed larger than average rooms with windows to the south. there is one full bathroom that will be shared with these rooms downstairs. upstairs is a very private master Suite that takes up the entire upstairs area. it has its own private deck and a large bathroom with his and hers closets. the views are of the south valley and you can see the ski mountain from the front of the house or from the deck of the house. the landings is a 24 home community whereby Home Owners association takes care of everything so you have nothing to worry about. there is a designated walking path from the house directly to the gondola which is less than a 5 minute walk. you can store your gear at one of the many storage facilities right by the Gondola or can store them from the store you rented the gear from. you are also walking distance to where there are restaurants and lots of things to do.Nightly is $650/nt. |
